Today is Holy Thursday. At school we had two assemblies to remember Holy Thursday and Good Friday. 4/5J did their assembly this morning about Holy Thursday. On Holy Thursday Jesus had his last meal with his friends, this was called the Last Supper.
We did our assembly this afternoon. Our's was about Good Friday. We acted out the story of when Jesus was arrested and nailed to the cross. We finished our assembly with Meg beating the drum to remind us that it is a very sad time.

Hello 4/5R. I am a teacher from a school in Wodonga, Victoria. I haven't used class blogs before and I found yours. Our class is called 3/4 RC, with 29 students, mostly girls. I love your assembly photos for Holy Thursday and Good Friday. We had a special assembly as well today where we participated in the stations of the cross.
